I will be participating in the 48 Hour Book Challenge this weekend, which basically means I'll be doing a lot of reading on Saturday and Sunday!
The involves posting reviews on this blog so keep an eye out - although I have a stack of books from the public library that aren't available (yet...) at PRHS, every second book I read will be from the PRHS library.
I might even win some prizes, woohoo!

Doesn't it drive you crazy that you hear about all these great books and your library doesn't have them yet? I mean, it makes sense, given that they have to be ordered. And you know, published first. But sometimes I read about all the ARC's people have already seen and I get all ready to read them, but I've got months to wait.
Okay, that was a little on the ranty side.
Carry on.
Oh, do I understand your frustration! I keep a running list of books to read (usually after reading online reviews of ARCs) and do a lot of "preview reading" from the public library before I purchase books with my small budget for the school library. In an ideal world, I would have an unlimited budget and the books would arrive within a week.
Regardless, I still get terribly excited when a box of brand new books arrives for me (and by "me" I mean "the library," hehe).
